Your New Holster:
When you first place your firearm into a new holster, it may be a little tight. This is normal. Please allow for a break in period. Wear the holster and gun at home until you are happy with its feel. DO NOT USE products, such as Neatsfoot oil, Mink oil, or any other similar product designed to soften leather; this will only shorten the life of the holster and make the leather limp. You can insert your gun into a plastic bag (or wrap with wax paper) and then insert it into the holster to stretch the leather a few thousandths of an inch. Only do this a little at a time because once leather is stretched a little too much, it never goes back..

Taking Care of Your Holster:
To keep your holster looking new, simply apply a coat of Kiwi Neutral shoe polish and buff to a shine (you can use black shoe polish if your gear is 100% black leather). A little moisture will not harm the leather but care must be taken to keep it out of excessively moist environments. Just as above, DO NOT USE products, such as Neatsfoot oil, Mink oil, or any other similar product designed to soften leather; this will only shorten the life of the holster and make the leather limp. Do not store your gun in the holster. It is best to take your gun out of the holster each night so the trapped moisture can evaporate. Wipe down your gun at least a couple of times a week with a light coat of gun oil.

Conditions of Use:
My holsters are not intended for use with modified guns or those fitted with trigger shoes. None of the holsters that I make should be altered in any way. My holsters are designed for use with a specific gun. Using a different gun or any alterations to our holsters could cause accidental discharge. It is not recommended to carry a gun during vigorous activity, such as jogging. ALL firearms are potentially dangerous. It is the user's responsibility to exercise extreme caution when handling or carrying any firearm and should be properly trained. CC Holsters, LLC shall not be responsible for any accidental or intentional injury resulting from the use of any gun or any of my products.
